HAMDEN, Conn. – March 26, 2024 – Quinnipiac University will host classical guitarist Christopher Ladd in concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 14 in the Black Box Theater, 515 Sherman Ave.
The event is part of QU’s Frank J. Natale Concert Series. Tickets, $10 for general admission and $5 for seniors and those with Quinnipiac identification, can be purchased by clicking here.
An award-winning and internationally acclaimed classical guitarist, Ladd will present his concert program, “Guitar Legends,” which explores the rich musical contributions of guitarists/composers over the centuries.

The program will focus on guitar compositions of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries from North and South America and Europe. The large catalog of works by guitarists who composed their own music stretches back many centuries and continues to evolve and expand to this day.

The concert will feature music by Agustín Barrios, Johann Kaspar Mertz, Andrew York, Alfonso Montes and New England’s own Frank Wallace.
Ladd is recognized throughout North America and abroad as one of the most versatile classical musicians of his generation.
The Frank J. Natale Music Series brings talented performers from a variety of musical backgrounds, including jazz, classical and contemporary music styles, to the Mount Carmel Campus each year.
