Gary S. Kaminski, 74, died May 28, 2025. He worked for the City of New Haven, the Regional Water Authority, and Aquarion Water Co., and was an avid golfer who enjoyed home repairs.
John Francis Riley (Jack), 92, died May 28, 2025. A U.S. Army Korean War veteran and decorated combat infantryman, he worked for the New Haven Water Co., then served as a Juvenile Probation Officer and later Supervisor of Probation Services for the Connecticut Judicial System, and was active in veterans, civic, and historical organizations with a passion for reading and storytelling.

Henry Brajkovic, 100, died May 26, 2025; a World War II survivor who worked for the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Agency, he taught English and history for over two decades, was one of the “New Haven Ninety” jailed in the 1975 teachers' strike, played accordion and piano, and spent retirement reading, listening to classical music, and traveling to museums and historic sites.
Teresa Latorre, 92, died May 26, 2025. A lifelong educator who taught at Hamden High School, SCSU, and as an ESOL instructor, she took pride in her Italian heritage, loved gardening, traveling, baseball, and sharing stories over meals with friends, colleagues, and former students.

Joseph Andrew Dapkin, 68, died May 28, 2025. A skilled woodworker with New England Woodworks, he crafted clocks and furniture, had a talent for mechanical repairs, and spent years fishing and exploring the outdoors across the Northeast.
Stephen O'Shea, 63, died June 2, 2025. He worked in IT and computer sales before entering the hospitality industry, was an avid golfer who frequently traveled to Ireland to play, a devoted Boston sports fan, longtime ice hockey player in Canada, and youth hockey coach.
