Kathleen Ann Manning Turbett, 83, died June 5, 2025. A born caregiver and fiercely loyal to her family, Kathleen opened her own daycare and later worked as a medical assistant in Asis Medical Associates and as a home-health aid at Whitney Center and in private homes.

Helen Dufficy De Roma, 92, died June 5, 2025. She spent over 20 years in banking as a Trust Officer at The Columbus Trust Company, enjoyed reading, gardening, decorating, and caring for houseplants.

Gail Margaret Schuler, 87, died June 5, 2025. A former elementary and special education teacher, she worked in group homes for individuals with special needs, sang in the church choir, played piano, painted, and enjoyed the beach, nature, and time with family.

Mary Jo Pohl, 79, died June 7, 2025. A dedicated educator who worked as a preschool teacher and director, she enjoyed tutoring math, reading with grandchildren, and was an avid fan of the Steelers, Penguins, UConn women’s basketball, Quinnipiac men’s hockey, and tennis, which she played into her later years.

Robert ("Rob") Toland, 72, died June 9, 2025. He spent his career at Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates and enjoyed woodworking, sailing, motorcycling, home repair, public radio, biographies, "The New Yorker," and exploring technology from early personal computers to 3D printing.

Pablo Febus, 79, died June 10, 2025; He worked for many years as a landscaper and spent his time cooking, gardening, and caring for his plants and chickens, and was always willing to help others.

Maria Ann Caruso Cioffi, 88, died June 12, 2025. She worked for SNET, co-owned Country Gardens of Orange, held various administrative roles, worked as a lunch aide for the Hamden Board of Education until her retirement, and volunteered at Yale New Haven Hospital.
