Marilyn Anderson O’Donnell, 88, died June 14, 2025. A UConn-trained nurse, she worked for the VNA, ACES, and the State of Connecticut, and enjoyed camping, cruising, and spending time at her cabin in New Hampshire.

Elia Rivolta Kopjanski, 96, died June 19, 2025. She worked as a proofreader for the Hamden Chronicle and office assistant at Sims Products, enjoyed reading, gardening, UCONN women’s basketball, and was active in the Junior Women’s Club.

Louis (Gaetano) Genovese, 97, died June 19, 2025. He was an Army veteran, electrical contractor and inspector, raised Morgan horses, restored antique carriages, gardened extensively, and built his own home.

Angela “Angelina” Sangiovanni DiSorbo, 90, died June 20, 2025. She worked for many years as a seamstress, enjoyed gardening and baking, and was active at St. Anthony’s Church and the Friends of St. Anthony.

Dorothy G. Putney, 98, died June 22, 2025. She wrote the Montowese News for the North Haven Post, contributed Girl Scout troop publicity, and enjoyed traveling to Italy, Bermuda, France, The Netherlands, Alaska, Hawaii, and the Panama Canal.

Michael L. Guidone, 47, died June 25, 2025. A Certified Public Accountant for 25 years, he was active in his church as a Eucharistic Minister, member of the Knights of Columbus, and co-director of a pro-life apostolate.

Estelle McKiernan, 87, a former teacher and graduate of New Haven State Teacher's College, died June 25, 2025, and enjoyed reading mysteries, theater, baking, conversation, and Brooklyn Dodgers baseball.

Elizabeth H. McVerry, 91, died June 30, 2025. She worked as a registered nurse in New Haven hospitals and with the VNA of South Central Connecticut, and was active in the St. Rita Church community and Ladies Guild.
