Three Kings Day Celebration To Be Held In Hamden
The celebration will include authentic Spanish food from La Isla restaurant, music and more.
HAMDEN, CT — The Town of Hamden will host a Three Kings Day Celebration on Thursday, Jan. 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Keefe Community Center, located at 11 Pine St in Hamden, with parking located at 19 George St.
Día de Los Tres Reyes (Three Kings Day) is a global festive tradition in Spain, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and many Latin American countries and Hispanic cultures. This holiday, marked by reverence, honors a journey guided by light, bringing gifts of hope and unity. Traditional celebrations include the act of gift-giving, an al fresco (outside) feast, and the culinary treat Rosca de Reyes (the king’s cake).

Please join us at Thursday’s Three Kings Day Celebration, which will include Spanish fare from La Isla, a Puerto Rican Bomba Performance by Proyecto Cimarron, a special visit from the Three Kings, and discussion about the holiday.
The Three Kings Day Celebration is presented by the Department of Arts, Culture, Recreation and Wellness and is held in cooperation with the Mayor’s Office.
