MASHANTUCKET, CT – Foxwoods Resort Casino is giving thanks to their guests by inviting all to join them for Thanksgiving Day specials throughout the resort. According to a press release, guests can savor the season with an unmatched selection of meals that cater to all diner preferences at Foxwoods’ award-winning restaurants on Thursday, Nov. 22.
Cedars Steakhouse and Oyster Bar
Gather round the table to enjoy seasonal specials including roasted apple and butternut squash bisque with a maple crème fraiche drizzle and cinnamon crouton or herb roasted sole with a pancetta crisp and garlic lemon butter, grilled asparagus and green onion risotto. To keep with tradition, order Cedars’ roasted turkey with a rich giblet gravy, sweet sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, butternut squash and cranberry relish. Finish off your meal with a slice of classic pumpkin pie, served à la mode and topped with cinnamon whipped cream.

David Burke Prime Steakhouse
For turkey dishes with a tasty twist, look no futher than David Burke Prime – the steakhouse is whipping up a delicious selection of entrees including slow-roasted organic turkey breast or Maine lobster-stuffed organic turkey breast with dark meat confit, haricot verts, raisin mashed sweet potatoes and mushroom stuffing, served with sage gravy and ginger cranberry sauce. Guests can also choose from surf & turf featuring bacon-wrapped bison sirloin and crab-stuffed Australian lobster tail with a roasted garlic lime sauce, or a hearty 24 oz. 100-day dry-aged cowboy ribeye served with pomegranate red wine sauce and shallot confit. Save room for the unique dessert menu including pumpkin crème brûlée, a full baked-to-order apple blueberry pie and “PieCaken,” a cross between pumpkin pie, pecan pie and apple upside-down cake.

Family-favorite spot Junior’s Restaurant is sure to please a crowd with its roast Maryland turkey breast or leg with chestnut dressing and giblet gravy, as well as slow-roasted prime rib au jus. All entrees are served with baked, mashed or sweet potato, cranberry sauce, candied yams and green beans. Also available by the slice are a selection of fresh-baked pies including pumpkin, apple, coconut custard, pecan and sweet potato. Not ready for dessert just yet? A New York-style cheesecake topped with pumpkin caramel sauce and whipped cream ends the meal on a sweet note.

For a traditional turkey dinner, Veranda Café is serving up roasted turkey with white and dark meat, giblet gravy, creamy mashed potatoes, butternut squash and haricots verts.
VUE 24
With stunning panoramic views of the Connecticut countryside, VUE 24 offers a feast for the eyes and the stomach with their prix-fixe Thanksgiving menu. Whet your appetite with a choice of bourbon scented butternut squash soup with roasted apple, cider reduction and thyme or a mixed green salad tossed with cranberries, toasted pecans, goat cheese crumble and sherry Dijon vinaigrette. For the main course, guests can select either the hard cider glazed turkey served with sage and date pork stuffing, baby carrots vichy, roasted shallot whipped pommes and giblet gravy, or butter basted Atlantic cod with a side of roasted root vegetables.
