Celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve with festive and delicious specials at Foxwoods.

MASHANTUCKET, CT – Foxwoods Resort Casino is inviting guests to come celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with impressive Christmas and New Year’s Eve dining specials. According to a press release, Foxwoods’ award-winning restaurants are offering delightful seasonal specials that are guaranteed to put guests of all tastes and budgets in the holiday spirit.

Caputo Trattoria

Enjoy the traditional Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve at Foxwoods’ classic Italian restaurant. The extravagant seven-course meal features the iconic dishes you would expect with some modern twists. Diners will start with the tuna crudo with cucumber, sliced chilis, citrus oil and radish followed by the Scungilli course. Next, dive into the baked littleneck clams Oreganatta with an oregano butter crumb followed by the Linguine Vongole with baby clams in a delicious herb broth.

The next course boasts a prosciutto-wrapped cod served with shrimp risotto and an aromatic mussel broth. Up next is the meal’s pièce de résistance, a Cioppino stew with lobster, shrimp, clams, scallops, mussels, Italian sausage, tomato-saffron-fennel broth, Calabrian chili and rice. Be sure to save room for the last, but certainly not least, course: dessert! Trust us, you will be dreaming of the flaky and creamy sfogliatella long after your last bite.

Foxwoods’ signature steakhouse is preparing holiday specials in addition to their renowned full menu for both Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. Seafood lovers will enjoy the seafood Napoleon starter with grilled Togarashi shrimp, tuna poke and lump crab tossed in a ginger vinaigrette with heirloom tomato, pickled cucumber and asparagus.

The Christmas Day entrée special boasts a juicy Delmonico steak cooked to perfection and served with herb roasted shrimp, porcini mushrooms and a savory thyme sauce. The New Year’s Eve menu is highlighted by a black peppercorn encrusted Delmonico steak with a steamed lobster tail in a red wine reduction and a baked flounder stuffed with lump crab and lobster stuffing.


David Burke Prime Steakhouse

Diners will be delighted by the classic and creative preparations at David Burke Prime Steakhouse Christmas Eve or Day. Appetizer specials include lobster tagine with creamy risotto, wilted spinach, and uni sauce as well as the ash-crusted Kobe sashimi with grilled scallions, truffle mousse, and pumpernickel.

For their entrée, guests can choose from surf and turf featuring grade A-5 Wagyu sirloin, roasted white asparagus, butter-poached lobster and hoisin sauce or a whole roasted duck for two served with roasted lady apples, shallots confit, brussels sprouts and Grand Marnier sauce. For dessert, you won’t want to miss Executive Chef Pedro Avila’s unique “PieCaken,” a cross between pumpkin pie, pecan pie, spice cake and apple pie filling topped with velvety buttercream icing.


Golden Dragon

Golden Dragon offers the perfect Christmas Day meal with your choice of appetizer, soup, and side to pair with the scrumptious main plate –The Coral Scallop – which is lightly battered and served with glazed walnuts, broccoli, and finished with a citrus mayonnaise sauce. On New Year’s Eve, Golden Dragon invites you to celebrate 2019 with a fantastic and flavorful three-course-meal.

Start with your choice of traditional pork pot stickers or steamed chicken dumpling, followed by egg drop soup with chicken or hot & sour soup. For the main course, guests are served deep fried jumbo shrimp garnished with fresh scallions and drizzled with the delectable Golden Dragon ginger soy sauce.
