July 4th Fireworks 2022 Near Ledyard

LEDYARD, CT — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Here's what's in store:

Sailfest New London 2022

What: Sailfest is Southeastern Connecticut's premiere summertime event, complete with a major fireworks display, amusement rides, free entertainment, ships, and over 200 vendors lining the streets. For more information, go to the Sailfest website.

Norwich Harbor Fireworks

What: The Norwich Harbor Fireworks shows is brought to you by Foxwoods Resort Casino. Food trucks, live music, and fireworks are on the docket. For more information, go to the Norwich Harbor Fireworks Facebook page.

When: July 8 at 5 p.m.

Celebrate East Lyme
