National Retailer Adds Store At Foxwoods Mall

MASHANTUCKET, CT — The Children's Place is now open at Tanger at Foxwoods. The specialty clothing retailer is occupying a 4,265-square-foot location near Under Armour.

The Children's Place joins other national brands like H&M, Old Navy, and Nike at the mall, which is connected to Foxwoods Resort Casino.

The news comes as recent years have been rough for large retailers, including The Children's Place. The company had 924 locations in 2020, but that number dwindled to just 495 last year, according to TheStreet.

The Children's Place offers a selection of clothing and accessories for newborns through teens.

“The Children’s Place has long been a go-to destination for families, and its arrival at Tanger at Foxwoods gives guests another top brand to shop and explore,” Amy Kosciukiewicz, marketing director at Tanger at Foxwoods, said in a statement.

Several other stores opened recently at the mall. Ethan Jordan Jewelers is now open on the upper level next to H&M, according to the mall's website.

Artisan Blend Bar, a beauty, cosmetic, and personal care shop, is also open on the second floor.

Entertainment venue Bee VR Theme Parks will be coming to Tanger at Foxwoods later this year.
