Patricia Ann Filburn, 84, of Ledyard, passed away Oct. 29, 2016, at the UConn Health Center in Farmington.

She was born Nov. 10, 1931, in Norwich, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Howarth) Dowling.

"Grandma" Pat retired from Finast in 1986 after 34 years as a bookkeeper. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Filburn.

She loved spending time with her family, traveling, including Ireland, Topeka, Kan., cruises with family and friends. She loved watching Jeopardy, and going to casinos for Bingo and slot machines.

Pat is survived by her son, Thomas and his wife, Kate, Filburn of Granby; a daughter, Maryellen (predeceased by her husband, Ray) Westcott; a brother, Thomas and his wife, Marilyn, Dowling of Olalla, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, Patrick, Brian and Brendan Filburn, Alison and Timothy Westcott; three great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Ella and Mason Filburn; a brother-in-law, Francis and his wife, Irene, Filburn of Kansas; sister-in- law, Mary Jane and her husband, Frank, Cieri of N.J., and a sister-in-law, Jan Dowling.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Patricia; a sister, Elizabeth Donatelli; and a brother, John Dowling.
