Project Grants In Memory of Janet Barnett

Make a difference. Inspire others. Celebrate community.

We’re honoring Janet Barnett’s life with dedicated memorial grants to support special projects —each one meaningful, creative, and community-minded, reflecting who she was. The initiative is organized by her nieces and backed by Ledyard Congregational Church, UCC, and we’re excited to see what you dream up.

Your project should honor Janet’s legacy by connecting in some way to her interests described above— such as community-building, education, children, nature, service, or cultural exchange. Funds can be requested in amounts of $50 to $5,000 though the full amount requested may not be awarded.

We're funding up to $5000 for creative projects that reflect Janet’s values like education, nature, service, youth leadership, and cultural exchange.

Anyone with a meaningful idea is welcome to apply—at any age!
