VR Theme Park Featuring Roller Coaster Coming To Foxwoods
A virtual reality theme park has plans to open at Tanger Outlets Foxwoods with unique entertainment options.
MASHANTUCKET, CT — Bee VR Theme Parks will open later this year at the Tanger Outlets Foxwoods, according to the theme park's Facebook page.
The new entertainment venue will be located on the lower level next to Johnny Rockets, according to The Connecticut Scoop. It will include multiple VR rides, interactive VR experiences, laser tag, virtual escape rooms, an arcade, and more.
Bee VR has another location in Caribou, Maine.

The centerpiece for Bee VR at Foxwoods is a 15-seat ride that simulates the motion of a roller coaster while an immersive video plays on a wraparound screen, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.
The park is designed for all ages. The owners hope to begin construction in October and open by Christmas, Hearst Connecticut Media reported.
