Daniel Hand In CIAC Class SS Football Final This Weekend
The Tigers gained a finals berth after beating Nonnewaug co-op in the CIAC Class SS Football Semifinals earlier this week.
MADISON, CT — The Daniel Hand Tigers will play in the CIAC Class SS Football Final at 10 a.m. on Saturday against the Killingly Trailblazers at Veterans Stadium at Willowbrook Park in Berlin.
Hand gained a finals berth after shutting out Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley in the CIAC Class SS Football Semifinals on Monday, 42-0. Killingly defeated Ledyard, 44-15, to reach the final.
Both teams enter the game with impressive records, Hand at 11-1 and Killingly at 12-0.
