Lane Closures Expected For Upcoming Light Replacement Project On I-95 In Madison
Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in the work area.
MADISON, CT — An illumination replacement project with lane closures is scheduled to take place on I-95 in both directions between Exit 51 and 62 in Branford, East Haven, Guilford, and Madison beginning Wednesday, Sept. 24, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
The project is expected to be completed on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The non-project number consists of installing new light fixtures, and work will be performed by Earthlight Company.
The left and right lanes will be closed on I-95 from Exit 51 to 62 for the duration of the project. Work hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Tuesday, CTDOT says.

Traffic control signing patterns and crash attenuator units will guide motorists through the work zone.
