Madison Beach Hotel Takes Brief Winter’s Nap

The resort will pause operations from January 3, 2022 and reopen on Friday, February 11, 2022, using the time to continue enhancements.

Madison Beach Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, a AAA Four Diamond Award-winning boutique resort and Top Performer for Hilton brand, is taking a brief winter break.

The resort will pause operations from January 3, 2022 and reopen at noon on Friday, February 11, 2022, using the time to continue enhancements to guest rooms, restaurant, bar, and public areas.

The Wharf Restaurant will serve brunch on January 1, and 2, and remain open until 6 p.m. on January 2.

On Friday, February 11, the hotel will begin operations Thursday – Sunday each week, including overnight accommodations, meetings and events, the spa, and The Wharf Restaurant. The Wharf will be open for both lunch and dinner Thursdays through Sundays.

This schedule will continue until April 14 at which time the hotel and restaurant will resume in-season hours operating 7 days per week.

Winter 2022 events include Dueling Pianos on February 11; Epicurean Series featuring Celebrity Culinarian Chef Plum on February 12; romantic dining for Valentine’s Weekend; and the resort’s signature Blues Festival from March 11 – 13. The winter break will be used to renovate The Wharf Restaurant & Bar, replace all guest room carpeting, and implement additional deep cleaning to guest rooms and public spaces under Hilton’s intensive CleanStay program. The program focuses on extra sanitization of 10 high-touch areas in guestrooms, and increased frequency of cleaning all public spaces, including elevators and lobby.

Madison Beach Hotel has installed air purification technology in The Wharf Restaurant and banquet event space for enhanced indoor dining safety.

REME HALO® air purifiers are located within the ducts of the restaurant’s HVAC system and silently kill 99% of bacteria, mold, and viruses. With ionized hydro-peroxide output and an enhanced catalyst with zinc, the system purifies every cubic inch of air that HVAC system reaches. The restaurant also has installed retractable side panels to allow for year-round outdoor dining and customized air flow.

An electrostatic sprayer is used in public spaces and guest rooms. The sprayer works by charging liquid chemicals as they pass through a sprayer nozzle. This generates charged droplets that repel against one another and stick to surfaces for effective disinfection.

The town of Madison, a quaint Connecticut haven, is easily accessible from New York and Boston by sea plane, train, and by car via major interstate highways.
