Madison EMS To Hold CPR AED Training Program

During the class, participants will learn CPR and how to properly and safely use an AED.

The class is on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 9 Old Route 79. The cost for the class is $60 per student. The fee includes all classroom materials and a certification card.

MADISON, CT — Madison EMS is offering an essential life-saving training program, the American Heart Association HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED class.

The class is on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 9 Old Route 79. The cost for the class is $60 per student. The fee includes all classroom materials and a certification card.

During the HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED class, participants will learn how to provide crucial first-aid interventions, including managing illnesses and injuries, controlling breathing and administering proper care until professional medical help arrives.

The course will also emphasize cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, where participants will gain hands-on experience performing high-quality chest compressions and rescue breaths to sustain the life of a victim experiencing cardiac arrest.

Participants will also receive comprehensive instruction on operating automated external defibrillators (AEDs) safely and effectively.
