Madison Man Accused Of Driving 100 MPH In 45 MPH Zone: CT State Police
The incident occurred Wednesday on Durham Road, according to authorities.
MADISON, CT — A 24-year-old Madison man was arrested on a charge of reckless driving Wednesday, after Connecticut State Police said he was clocked driving 100 mph in a 45 mph zone.
In addition to reckless driving, Derek Nowak was also charged with failure to wear a seat belt in the 9:45 p.m. incident.
According to state police, troopers were conducting motor vehicle enforcement on Durham Road in Madison, when a trooper saw a black Dodge Dart traveling at a high rate of speed, which resulted in the Trooper clocking the vehicle at 100 mph.

Nowak was released after posting a $5,000 bond, and he is scheduled to appear in New Haven Superior Court on March 28.
