Madison Opens Cooling Center To Help Deal With Hot Temperatures

Gov. Ned Lamont has activated the state's extreme hot weather protocols through Wednesday afternoon.

MADISON, CT — The Madison Senior Center is open as a cooling center on Tuesday to 8 p.m., town officials announced.

The cooling center, which is at 29 Bradley Road in Madison, will be open again on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Temperatures through Wednesday are expected to be in the high 80s or low 90s, with high humidity.
