Parents had reportedly complained to district officials about proposed cuts to the arts and language plans.

MADISON, CT — Some arts and language classes that were set to be cut for fourth and fifth graders at Madison's Brown Intermediate School will be restored, following complaints from parents, the Shoreline Times reported.
Some music, theater and Spanish courses that had been cut will reportedly be restored under the revised plans, which will be presented to parents during a meeting Thursday evening.
The cuts were planned as the district prepares to open the new Neck River Elementary School next year.
