Madison Seeks $810K Special Appropriation Approval
A special meeting is taking place to approve the special appropriation for the Madison Town Campus Geothermal project.

MADISON, CT — A special meeting is taking place in Madison to approve a special appropriation of $810,783 for the Town Campus Geothermal project.
The special town meeting is on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 6 p.m. in the Walter C. Polson Middle School Auditorium, 302 Green Hill Rd.
The total project cost with soft costs is $2.4 million. The project is currently funded with $1.6 million; an additional $810,783 is needed to cover the costs.

The town of Madison stated there are two sources for potential rebates that would be awarded following full completion. IR rebate possible $860,000 to $900,000 return. Eversource rebate potential $200,000 to $258,000 return. Full potential rebates are between 1.6 million and 1.158 million.
