Madison's Ryerson Elementary School To Be Celebrated This Year: Report
The school is scheduled to close at the end of the school year.

MADISON, CT — Ryerson Elementary School in Madison is scheduled to close at the end of the school year, but before then, the school will be celebrated, the Shoreline Times reported.
The district is closing Ryerson, which opened in 1966, to make room for the new Neck River Elementary School at 180 Mungertown Road. Officials said the new 87,000-square-foot elementary school is expected to open in time for the 2025-26 school year.
In the meantime, the theme for the year at Ryerson is "Ryerson is groovy," with fun, colorful signs dotting the hallways, and a celebratory video to welcome back students next week.
