More Than 200 Coats Collected for Local Charity
The Women's Club of Madison's annual coat drive resulted in a donation of more than 200 winter coats to BHCare.
The Women's Club of Madison is proud to announce that their 2025 Winter Coat Drive was a tremendous success thanks to the hard work, dedication, and generosity of their members and community. Co-chairs Sara Welch, Lori Elia, Kathy DeBurra, Anne Marie Lane, and Josephine Mokriski led the effort with exceptional coordination and heart. Through their leadership and the support of all, the drive collected approximately 229 winter coats this season.
Coats were collected throughout the month of October in a collection box placed at Stop & Shop in Madison. Then, the co-chairs were honored to deliver all collected coats to BHcare, in support of Domestic Violence and Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the critical services they provide to individuals and families in need. These donations will make a meaningful impact as colder weather approaches and will directly help those seeking safety, stability, and hope.
Special thanks to Stop & Shop in Madison for their continued support of this project, and to everyone in the community who donated coats.
