MADISON, CT — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Madison families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

Santa arrived on Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Here Comes Santa Claus

Santa Claus comes to Downtown Madison escorted by Madison Hose No. 1 on Saturday, Nov. 25. Santa will greet children for their families to take photos between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Madison Tree Lighting

The annual tree lighting in Madison is set for Friday, Dec. 1, starting at 5 p.m., with the tree lighting scheduled for 7 p.m. During the tree lighting, Santa and Olaf will make a special visit.

Breakfast With Santa at Madison Beach Hotel

Celebrate the Holiday Season with Breakfast with Santa at the Madison Beach Hotel, 94 West Wharf Rd., on Sunday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tickets are required for each attending guest. Tickets include breakfast, a meet and greet with Santa, a Photo Opp and a special treat back for each child. Pricing is $59 per person. Children under three years old are free.

A cash bar featuring Bloody Mary’s mimosas, Bellini, beer, wine and holiday cocktails is available.

Seating is open and rescored by groups. Tables will be shared, communal style. There will be complimentary valet parking.
