Mr. Paul Birdsall is an amazing teacher because he excels at building strong relationships with his students, creating a supportive and encouraging classroom environment where they feel valued and understood. His enthusiasm for teaching math is infectious, fostering a love for learning in his students. Demonstrating his dedication, he arrives early to offer extra help, showing his willingness to go above and beyond to ensure their success. He holds high expectations and believes in the potential of each student, motivating them to rise to the challenge and achieve more than they thought possible. Additionally, Mr. Birdsall teaches his students how to play backgammon, further engaging them and enriching their learning experience. With 40 years of experience teaching high school math, he brought his expertise to the Country School, where he continues to inspire middle school students. My two boys thrived in his math class, and he has had a remarkable impact on them as a teacher. They always wanted to arrive 30 minutes early to spend time with Mr. Birdsall. I wish every student had a Mr. Birdsall in their lives.
