Tractor Trailer Crash Closes Rt. 1 Between River & Old Post Roads
The state department of transportation reports a crash involving a tractor trailer has shut down part of Boston Post Road in Madison.
MADISON, CT — The state department of transportation reported that a tractor trailer crash on Boston Post Road between East River Road and Old Post Road has shut down that portion of Rt. 1.

The Madison 911 Dispatchers Facebook page notes that the crash is in the area near the Guilford town line and advises motorists to avoid the area.
It's reported that police and fire units are on the scene.
