Warning System Operational Again At Madison Train Station: Update
Passengers were advised to use caution on the platform at the station on Wednesday.

MADISON, CT — The safety alert system at the Madison train station was temporarily not operating on Wednesday morning, according to the Shore Line East Alerts System, but the system has been restored.
Approaching trains at Madison station had to sound their horns to signal their approach to the station, and passengers were warned to be care on the platform.
"The safety alert system at Madison station is now working properly," officials said. "Thank you for your patience."
