BOE Resignations, Parking Lot Upgrades and Gardening Books
Five things to help you get organized for Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013.

1. Manchester is short one member of its Board of Education, as Democrat Sarah Walton has resigned from the school board to accept a position within the school district.
2. Tired of never finding a place to park at Manchester Community College and having to walk for what seems like blocks just to get to class? Well, a state-funded upgrade to one of MCC's three lots will add about 260 more spaces when it's completed in the fall.
3. Are you a gardner? Even if you're not a pro, you might be interested in these sets of gardening encyclopedias that are being given away for free.
4. Are you signed up for Manchester Patch's Breaking News Alerts yet?
5. Unemployed or underemployed? Then this networking group at the Wesley United Methodist Church in East Windsor is probably for you.
