"I'd Love to Negotiate"

To me life is about negotiations, that includes relationships, families and especially in real estate.

I am not the typical real estate owner, as I used to be in the business and have been buying and selling real estate for more years than I care to admit.

If I am selling a property, no matter if I am talking to the prospective buyer or their Realtor I am often asked if I am willing to negotiate, my answer is always the same. “I’d Love to Negotiate”. I also know that often the first buyer or offer can be the best one.

For me negotiations are not personal, but certainly that is not the case for most homeowners. Most homeowner should be represented by a Realtor in order to allow the negotiation process to go as smoothly as possible.

I learned a long time ago, a seller wants to get the most money possible and a buyer wants to pay the least amount possible. There is nothing wrong with either position, is there?
