The meetings have generated a variety of ideas for the space, but the final decision will be up to MACC’s board. The hope is that by September, members will announce what their plans are for the space.

While the shelter may be closed, the organization is still helping those in need. It is still providing showers to those who need them, welcoming people inside during extreme temperatures, and helping them find services or other shelters to stay at.
