Here's what voters need to know about the municipal election including the candidates, polling places, voting hours, and more.

MANCHESTERT , CT — On Nov. 4, Manchester residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions in town. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming municipal election.
Election Day Polling Hours And Locations
Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Same Day Voter Registration
If you are not registered, but want to vote on Election Day, you may register in person on Election Day at your Election Day Registration site People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using.

Referendum Questions
1. Shall the Town of Manchester appropriate $19,500,000 to capital accounts for the 2025-2026 fiscal year budget for the purpose of paying the costs of reconstruction and repair of various town roads, roadside elements and sidewalks, repairs and improvements to town buildings and upgrades to various storm drains and authorize the issuance of general obligation bonds of the town or notes in anticipation of such bonds in an amount not to exceed $19,500,000 to finance the appropriation?
2. Shall the Town of Manchester revise the town charter to make certain technical and administrative changes?
3. Shall the Town of Manchester revise Section 1-1 and other pertinent sections of the town charter to rename the Town of Manchester as the City of Manchester?
4. Shall the Town of Manchester revise Section 2-1, Chapter III, and other pertinent sections of the town charter to rename its legislative body from the Board of Directors to Council?
5. Shall the Town of Manchester revise Section 3-3 of the charter by increasing the compensation of the members of the Board of Directors?
6. Shall the Town of Manchester revise Section 9-3 of the town charter to eliminate the residency requirement for the Superintendent of Schools?Who's Running?

- The candidate is Maria W. Cruz, a Demcrat
Select Board, Vote for up to Two
- The Democratic candidates are MD Rahman and Kevin Zingler and the Republican candidates are Mark Tweedie and Kris Moulard
Constables, Vote for up to Four
