Manchester High Student Identified as 'One of the Most Talented Young Artists in the Nation'

Summer Gray, a junior at Manchester High School, has been invited to attend an awards ceremony at the world-famous Carnegie Hall on June 1 and to participate in showcase events at Parsons The New School of Design in New York City.

is pleased to announce that Summer Gray has earned national recognition in The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2012, presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.

Gray, a junior at Manchester High School, has been identified by panels of professional artists as one of the most talented young artists in the nation. This year, 200,000 works of art and writing were submitted. Only the top 1,500 were recognized at the national level. These students have been invited to attend a ceremony at the world-famous Carnegie Hall on June 1 and to participate in showcase events at Parsons The New School of Design in New York City.
