Manchester Sprinter Wins Event At CIAC Indoor Track State Open

NEW HAVEN, CT — A sprinter from Manchester High School won an individual championship at the CIAC girls indoor track State Open Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.

Junior Samiya Eady won the 55 meter dash, crossing the finish line in 7.09 seconds. In team competition, the Red Hawks tied for sixth with 18 points; Bloomfield compiled 95 points to win the title for the fourth time since 2017.
