MANCHESTER, CT — The family of a Manchester woman who has been missing since last December is asking for the public's help and arguing that the police should be doing more to locate her, several news outlets reported.

Her family is arguing that police haven't looked at surveillance footage from the Bloomfield IHOP — where, according to credit card records, she made a purchase on Dec. 21, Fox 61 reported.
Family members also said police didn't release a silver alert until Dec. 28 — days after she was last seen, according to NBC Connecticut.

According to WTNH, Howe left the Manchester house she shares with her brother and sister-in-law the morning of Dec. 21, then went shopping and got food at IHOP before checking into a Days Inn in Windsor Locks.
Police told her family that all they found in the hotel was her personal belongings and a note that read 'goodbye,' WTNH reported.
"During yesterday's sit down, we were speculating that they were doing the bare minimum, but they proved to us yesterday in that sit down that they are definitely doing the bare minimum," said Nyesha Howe, Sherrian Howe's sister-in-law, as reported by Fox 61.
In a statement to NBC Connecticut, the Manchester Police Department said it has made "extensive efforts" to locate Howe, including reviewing surveillance footage, performing drone and manual searches, and examining relevant devices.
Anyone with information on Howe's whereabouts can contact the MPD at 860-645-5500.
