The Town of Manchester Connecticut has 23 listed Town Trails its official site. Last week, I explored the Globe Hollow Trail and discovered some of the trees being preserved along the trail.
There are Paper Birch, Black Birch, Eastern Hemlock, American Beech and Sassafras.
My favorite spot was a shade by the water. The walk was not a long stretch. It took us only 15 minutes to make the round trip.
