MANSFIELD, CT — A cyclist was hit by a motor vehicle in Mansfield last week, state police said.

According to a crash report, at 5:38 p.m. on Sept. 3, a 50-year-old Windham man on a bicycle was traveling south on Storrs Road and a 48-year-old Storrs man driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was heading west on Cedar Swamp Road.

The driver of the Chevy was making a right turn and the vehicle stuck the cyclist, according to a crash report.

The cyclist was taken to Windham hospital with minor injuries and driver of the Chevy was issued and infraction, state police said.
