Leslie Mendelson is a Brooklyn-based artist known for her soulful, emotionally charged performances and songwriting that resonates with a wide audience. Her 2020 album, If You Can't Say Anything Nice…, drew critical acclaim for its depth and sincerity, blending elements of folk, pop, and Americana. Mendelson has toured internationally and has shared stages with musical legends such as The Who’s Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey. In 2019, Mendelson co-wrote the song “A Human Touch” with Jackson Browne. Written for the documentary film 5B, “A Human Touch” is a song about just that, the human touch. In the documentary film the nurses and doctors of 5B altered the way those living with AIDS were cared for and gave hope to those affected.
Joining Mendelson on stage will be Kala Farnham, an award-winning singer-songwriter hailing from Connecticut. Farnham’s music is an ethereal blend of folk, pop, and classical influences, showcased in her most recent album, Your Spirit Is a Work of Art, which earned her accolades in the New England music scene. Her heartfelt lyrics and masterful piano and guitar work have captivated audiences throughout the Northeast. Farnham is also the current Connecticut State Troubadour. She will be performing a Tribute to Carole King.
