Bread Box Theater Set For Another Spring Season Of Music
The program has raised thousands of dollars for the Covenant Soup Kitchen.

WILLIMANTIC, CT — The Bread Box Theater has announced its 2024 spring series.
Bruce and Therese Jenkins John have been co-directors of the Bread Box Folk Theater in Willimantic since its inception in 2009. The program has raised $260,000 for the Covenant Soup Kitchen by presenting quality musical acts from around the world.
The season kicks off on Sunday, February 25 with Twangtown Paramours, a very talented and entertaining married duo from Nashville. On the bill is another married couple and fan favorite from Massachusetts, Ash & Eric.

On March 10th from Boston are the spectacular and energetic, Porch Party Mamas. Also on that bill is former Connecticut State Troubadour, Kate Callahan with her trio.
On March 24, one of the finest folk acts to hail from the Northeast — The Nields — will take the stage. On the bill with the group, from New York City, will be The Edna Project, a talented and insightful couple that puts beautiful music to the poetry of Edna St.Vincent Millay.

On April 7, all the way from Seattle is 1970s Icon and a Shabbo Legend from the famed Batdorf and Rodney, will be singer-songwriter ,John Batdorf. Opening the show will be Connecticut's own and Bread Box favorite Seat Of Our Pants (SOOP).
April 21 is Bluegrass Sunday with Nick Andersons's Shady Creek and Cathy Day's Hosmer Mountain Boys.
Finally, on May 5 Bread Box brings to the fans local treasures Mark and Beverly Davis, who will warm things up with their world class classical guitar pieces for the entire Providence Mandolin Orchestra that Mark will conduct.

eventbrite.com and breadboxfolk.org. Bread Box transforms the sanctuary of St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 220 Valley Street in Willimantic into a hundred-seat theater with a stained glass backdrop and superb sound system.
All proceeds benefit Covenant Soup Kitchen.
