Burglary, DUI, Criminal Mischief: Arrests in Mansfield

A Willimantic man is facing a burglary charge after a Mansfield resident came home and found the suspect inside.
The suspect allegedly said “I’m a public servant,” when the resident him what he was doing inside the Saw Mill Brook Lane home about 5:45 p.m. on Jan. 17, according to a Connecticut State Police report.
The suspect, identified as Arnold Seaver, 46, of Birch Street, Willimantic, was charged with third-degree burglary and disorderly conduct. His bond was set at $5,000.
Other arrests:
- Moonis Ansari, 20, of Main Street, Winchester, was arrested for driving under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane, about 2:15 a.m. Jan. 17. He was stopped by troopers on Route 195 in Mansfield. His bond was set at $500.
- Elizabeth Roderick, 37, of Lornadale Drive, Norwich, was arrested on charges of driving while influence and failure to signal, after she was stopped by police on Route 195 in Mansfield shortly before 4 p.m. Jan. 15. Her bond was set at $500.
- Mathew MIchaud, 18, of Storrs Road, Storrs, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, by troopers investigating a disturbance at a residence in the 1500 block of Storrs Road about 5:20 p.m. Jan. 11. His bond was set at $500.
