MANSFIELD, CT — A teen driver crashed his car over the weekend in Mansfield, state police said.

According t0 a state police crash report, just after 9 p.m. Saturday, a 2013 Honda Accord was heading north along the 800 block of Mansfield City Road, when it suddenly ran off the road.

The car hit two utility poles and a pair of mailboxes before crashing onto an embankment, according to a crash report.

The driver, a 17-year-old from Storrs, was taken to Windham Hospital for evaluation, state police said.
