DOT 'Loader" Wrecks Van In Mansfield
A van had an unpleasant encounter with a Department of Transportation vehicle in Mansfield, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT — A car in Mansfield lost out big-time in a tussle with a piece of Connecticut Department of Transportation heave equipment, state police said.
A DOT "loader" was headed east along the 100 block of Middle Turnpike at 11:38 a.m. on July 15, with a Nissan commercial parked along the same stretch of road, according to a state police crash report.
The two became entangled and the loader wrecked the front bumper and hood of the van, according to a crash report.
