STORRS, CT — A 20-year-old driver is facing an underage drunken driving charge after a weekend incident in Downtown Storrs, state police said.

The incident took place at 12:15 a.m. Sunday on Royce Circle, according to an arrest report.

The traffic stop was initiated by a "suspicious incident" call to state police, and when troopers arrived, they suspected the Milford woman of being drunk, according to an incident report.

She then failed sobriety tests and was charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .02 or higher at younger than 21, a lane violation and third-degree forgery, according to an arrest report.
