Driver Killed In Rollover Crash On Highway Portion Of Route 6
A driver was killed in a weekend crash on Route 6, state police said.

COVENTRY, CT — A driver was killed late Sunday night in a roller crash on the highway portion of Route 6, state police said.
Axel Antonio Santos-Reyes, 38, of Hartford, was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from the 2010 Scion he was driving, according to a crash report.
The crash took place at 11:38 p.m., state police said.

According to a crash report, the Scion was headed west on Route 6, about three-quarters-of-a-mile shy of the Route 66 interchange. Santos-Reyes was trying to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed and lost control of the car, according to a crash report.
The Scion slid off the road, traveled into a drainage culvert and hit a rock ledge before rolling over several times and landing on its roof, according to a crash report. In a crash report, state police said a seatbelt was not in use.
