MANSFIELD, CT — Drugs were a factor in a rollover crash in Mansfield last month, state police said.

A warrant arrest has been made in the case, which dates back to May 27. That day, at 7:13 a.m., state troopers responded to a single-car crash on Warrenville Road. According to a warrant, a witness told state police that a Ford Escape had darted off the road, slammed into a utility pole and flipped onto its passenger's side.

The witness told state police that the vehicle was traveling at a normal speed, but the driver also did not take any evasive action before crashing, according to a warrant.
