
Students from E.O. Smith Regional High School recently took home top honors in the 22nd Annual High School Geographic Challenge at UConn.
The team of five beat out 17 other schools from across Connecticut for the win, a news release on the Hartford Courant Web site states.
According to the Connecticut Geographic Alliance (CGA), which sponsors the challenge, the competition included "geographic issues such as place, movement, human history, and human/environment interaction."
