MANSFIELD, CT — A golf cart "fell" into a luxury sport utility vehicle in Mansfield, state police said.

The incident took place at 11 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

According to a crash report, a 2025 Audi Q7 Premium Plus was parked in a parallel space along the southbound side of Storrs Road near Bolton Road when along came a golf cart with a 32-year-old Willington man driving north on the sidewalk.

The cart then "came too close to the edge," slipped off the sidewalk and hit the Audi, according to a crash report. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, state police said.

The area straddles the University of Connecticut and E.O. Smith High School.
