Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Hartford and Tolland Counties
More snow showers expected today, then winds turn very gusty and there is a chance of snow later in the week.

The snow showers and squalls will end in Hartford and Tolland counties around noon, according to the National Weather Service’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” issued for the area.
Some areas will have received an inch or two of new snow and some poor visibility.
After the snow ends it turns bitterly cold and windy. The high temp on Monday is in the mid 20s with a low at night of around 12 degrees.

The National Weather Service says a “Wind Advisory” will likely be needed for Tuesday as gusts could be 35 to 45 mph with a few gusts up to 50 mph.
It will be sunny the remainder of the week and highs around 30 during the day and at night lows in the teens, and then all eyes are on a possible snowstorm this coming weekend.

The National Weather Service writes, “late Friday into this weekend...there is a low probability that a winter storm will affect the region. The ultimate effects will depend upon the strength and track of this system. Stay tuned for the latest information on this potential winter storm.”
