Hidden Gems Of Hartford And Tolland Counties

COVENTRY, CT — This week's trip to a Hidden Gem comes just in time for the golf season.

Welcome to The Golf Cart Guy in Coventry. The business is tucked into a nook off of Route 31 in Coventry (386 Main St.). The Golf Cart Guy specializes in golf cart sales, service, parts and even features custom carts.

There is an extensive inventory of pre-owned golf carts for sale starting at $2,750.

One recent example is a standard-color white 2011 gas-powered Club Car with an all-aluminum frame that has been tuned up, along with an oil change and new belts for $2,750.

Another example has been a red 2011 gas-powered Club Car with a new, gelcoat body, a new rear flip seat, new led lights front and rear, a new windshield and new tires for $5,950.

"The Golf Cart Guy has been busy this winter," said a post on the business Facebook page.

The suggestion is to call before coming because the hours hours of operation change with the seasons.
