STORRS, CT — State police have arrested an 18-year-old Griswold man in connection with lewd images sent to underage girls in Storrs.

The 18-year-old was served a warrant on Dec. 3, records show.

The "victims" in the case are a pair of 14-year-olds and the images were also witnessed by a friend, a 16-year-old girl, according to a warrant.

The 16-year-old informed an administrator at E.O. Smith High School that an image of the 18-year-old in an aroused state was sent to both her friends while they were all at lunch at school, according to a warrant.

The 16-year-old said she knew the account from a "short-lived" online relationship (Snapchat and Facebook) with the 18-year-old and, after the breakup, caused by what the 16-year-old said was a habit of him sending images and communicating to multiple girls simultaneously, he apparently moved on to her friends, according to a warrant.

When he began messaging the 14-year-olds and they friended him on social media apps, the context became sexual "in minutes," a warrant says.

State police were shown the explicit image after speaking with a school administrator first and then the girls, according to a warrant.

The 18-year-old also sent a message to one of the 14-year-old girls saying, in graphic language, that she was a candidate to have sex with him, according to a warrant.

He has been charged with risk of injury to a minor and enticing a minor by computer.
