Mansfield Downtown Partnership Announces 2022 Summer Concert Series

MANSFIELD, CT — The Mansfield Downtown Partnership Tuesday announced the return of its popular Summer Concerts on the Square. The first concert, featuring Arnaldo Rivera & His Bentetú Band, is slated for Thursday.

The Partnership and the town of Mansfield will host free concerts every Thursday in June and July on Betsy Paterson Square in Downtown Storrs. All performances will take place from 6:30 to 8p.m. All concerts are free and open to the public. The rain dates are on the following Tuesday.

Mansfield residents and friends will enjoy a diverse line-up of musical entertainment for all ages. Visitors are welcome to bring a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy the music with their friends and neighbors.

The 2022 Summer Concerts on the Square are made possible with the support of Barnes & Noble UConn; National Institute of Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine (NICABM); The Oaks on the Square; People’s United, a division of M&T Bank; the merchants of Storrs Center; and UConn Summer & Winter Programs.
