Mansfield Man Faces Sexual Assault Charges
The suspect was arrested on Friday by Coventry Police.
A Mansfield man reportedly has been charged with trying to sexually assault a girl in August.
Coventry Police lodged charges of criminal attempt to commit second-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor against Richard Gamache, 47, of Old Kent Road on Friday, according to The Hartford Courant.
According to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website, the incident occurred Aug. 1. Gamache was arraigned Monday in Superior Court in Rockville, and released on a promise to return to court Feb. 3, according to the Judicial Branch.
